I received an email from a friend of mine about the “Heart Attack Grill”. First I thought it was a joke until I looked it up on the internet. This hamburger place does exist. It’s located in Chandler, Arizona delivering great tasting 8000-calorie Bypass Burgers and Flatliner Fries. Burgers come in four different sizes (Single, Double, Triple and Quadruple Bypass Burgers). They also serve french fries which they call “Flatliner Fries” deep fried in pure lard.

This restaurant has created a lot of controversies that the owner has not spent anything on advertising. They have been criticized mostly by the Arizona Board of Nursing and the Center for Nursing Advocacy.

Customers are called “patients” and waitresses are called “nurses” while the owner, Jon Basso is the “doctor”. Waitresses wear their naughty nurse uniforms as they serve and wheel their “patients” out to their cars when they finish a Triple or Quadruple Bypass burger.

I learned that even Joey Chestnut (who won the Nathan’s Hotdog eating contest by eating 59 hot dogs in 10 minutes) holds the record for finishing a Quadruple Bypass burger in 1 min and 47 seconds this year.

I’ll be in Scottsdale, Arizona this Christmas and I will surely check this place out. I’m just curious though. Do men come here to satisfy their hunger or sexual fantasies?
